Warren Buffet spends as much as 6 hours per day reading and attributes a lot of his success to this habit he has developed over decades of investing.

“Read 500 pages every day. That’s how knowledge works. It builds up, like compound interest. All of you can do it, but I guarantee not many of you will do it.” — Warren Buffet

Most people read less than 12 books per year. By only reading 2 books a month, you can place yourself ahead of many. The thing is, the “Buffet Way” of reading is at one end of the spectrum, and the “most people way” is at the other end of it. You don’t need to become an extreme reading beast, you just need to do a little more than average to beat the competition.

The second part of Buffet’s quote, “not many of you will do it” is crucial to understand as an entrepreneur. The very reason most people don’t get what they want in life is that they don’t have “the vision”.
